The new Natty Gains dashboard

Your cockpit for your coaching business. Manage every area of your nutrition coaching and client support centrally in one place.

Just in time for the turn of the year 2023/24 and ahead of the new weight loss and fitness season, we are rolling out a major update of our coaching software, with a focus on the "dashboard".

After asking you in the summer what you would like to see in the dashboard, we have been busy evaluating, designing, developing, programming and testing. The result: a completely restructured and redesigned coaching dashboard!

Faster. More modern. More features.

Data, features, content: everything in one place

As always, the development focused on our goal of boosting your coaching business even more. That is why we concentrated fully on greater practical value, more efficiency and your benefits:

  • All business data managed centrally in one place
  • Clear overview through structured content
  • Easy client management and communication
  • Faster workflows through connected data
  • Effortless operation through intuitive design

This enables you to run your self-employed nutrition coaching business even more clearly, simply and efficiently, making it more profitable and successful. Because your success as a coach is our goal.

The dashboard:

your overview

A quick look at your business and news

In the overview under "Dashboard" you'll find all the key information about your nutrition coaching business:

  • the number of your active clients,
  • the number of your unused codes, which you can use to activate new clients or extend existing client accounts
  • and the number of codes you receive each month with your software license.

4 management areas

For the launch of the new dashboard, we've set up 4 management areas in the left menu: Clients, Codes, Recipes, Documents.

Section: CLIENTS

The client overview

Manage your clients even more effectively and clearly.

Quick info per client:
  • Client since when?
  • Automatic renewal: yes/no?
  • When does the account expire (if auto-renewal is disabled)
  • When will the account be renewed (if auto-renewal is enabled)
  • Quick function to change the automatic renewal
Filter by active/inactive clients:

You can now filter your client list by active or inactive clients with a single click.

Extended sorting options for clients:

Use the extended sorting options to organize your account overview according to your own preferences.

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Recently added
  • Expiring next

Client registration

No more copying and pasting codes, and you can now set an end date for the coaching.

  • You now register a new client directly in the dashboard using the "Add new client" button.
  • To activate the new client, the oldest unused code is assigned automatically. (No more copying an activation code from the code overview.)
  • When registering a client, you can set an end date for the coaching right away.
(So if you've sold a coaching package lasting several months, enter the end date directly and enable automatic renewal. Once the end date is reached, the renewal is disabled automatically. No more setting reminders, no more wasted codes.)
  • This means automatic renewal can already be enabled during registration.
  • You no longer have to accept the privacy policy on behalf of the client. Ideally, you've already obtained your client's consent to the privacy policy beforehand (e.g. when signing the contract or during the intake).

The individual "client card" and its features

Find all of a client's information on their personal client card.

To give you quick and easy access to a client's data, we've brought together all of their details, info, analyses and reports on one client card.

Each client card has 5 sections:

  • Intake & info
  • Meal plan / food log
  • Check-ins
  • Nutrient analysis
  • Body progress

Tab 1: INFO

General client information:

At the top, you'll see the client's name and email address.

Internal notes:

Next, as a nutritionist you can use the "Internal notes" feature to store tailored information for each of your clients that goes beyond the data in the intake form and is relevant for successful coaching. Here you can write down important information about your client that goes beyond the intake, e.g. appointments, minutes or any other individual comments or recommendations relevant to the client.

Intake data:

This shows the client's parameters based on their intake:

  • General client information
  • Body data and activity level
  • Calorie and macronutrient target
  • Nutrition profile

You can change these parameters by logging in as the client via the "Change parameters" button (top right of the client card) and making the necessary adjustments under Profile > Plan settings.

Tab 2: MEAL PLAN / FOOD LOG

View and edit your clients' meal plans and food logs

Your clients' meal plans or food logs are now displayed in a weekly overview, so you can get an overview of their meals and recipes even faster.

  • Adjust your clients' meal plans by clicking "Edit plan".
  • Click a meal to see the details (ingredients, calories, nutrients, preparation, etc.)

COMING SOON > Tab 3: Check-ins

Weekly check-ins from your clients for more interaction and feedback

The "Check-ins" tab is currently still in test mode and is expected to be released in the course of January. It's a completely new feature that lets you offer your clients an even better coaching experience.

Have your clients give weekly feedback by answering a simple form in their own account with questions about their general well-being, current body data, satisfaction with their progress, sleep quality and any other suggestions.

Your client's check-ins are automatically saved under the respective date and listed chronologically in a tab list. This means you can first review the check-ins at your own pace and then give the client feedback on their check-in directly by writing a message under "Coach feedback" at the end of the check-in and clicking "Send reply". Your client can then see your reply directly in their account.

Progress tracking with photo uploads

As part of the check-in, your client will also be able to upload progress photos. This new progress tracking feature with photo uploads will let you assess your client's development visually as well.

Tab 4: NUTRIENT ANALYSIS

Guide your clients' eating habits: calories, macronutrients, micronutrients, water

The dashboard now gives you new analysis tools that offer you as a nutritionist even deeper insights into your clients' eating habits:

  • Calorie analysis: An overview of your clients' daily calorie intake compared to their targets. Quickly see whether adjustments are needed to reach weight loss, muscle gain or health goals.
  • Macronutrient analysis: Insight into the ratio of protein, carbohydrates and fat. Lets you guide your clients' nutrient intake optimally and adjust their meal plans accordingly.
  • Micronutrient analysis: Detailed information on the intake of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Helps you assess the quality of your clients' diet and give targeted recommendations to improve their health.

These tools make it easier for you to analyze your clients' diet, uncover deficiencies and give you a fact-based foundation for coaching sessions and more individual nutrition strategies.

Tab 5: BODY PROGRESS

Body weight, body measurements, body composition

In the dashboard, you as a nutritionist now also have access to advanced charts and analysis tools for tracking your clients' progress. These tools give you comprehensive insights into different aspects of their physical development:

  • Body weight: A graphical weight log shows your clients' weight changes over time. You can spot trends and judge whether the current meal plans are working effectively for your clients' goals.
  • Body measurements: Charts tracking the measurements of different body areas give you insight into your clients' physical changes. This data is especially useful for evaluating the success of your coaching in relation to specific "problem areas" and body regions.
  • Body composition: Detailed analyses of body composition, such as body fat percentage and muscle mass, help you assess your clients' physical transformation. This information is essential for tracking the success of your nutrition strategies, especially in connection with sports activities, and adjusting them if needed.

These tools let you provide medium to long-term, data-driven coaching and support tailored to each client's individual goals and nutritional needs.

Section: CODES

Code overview with new filter function

Simply filter by valid codes.

The new filter function for the code overview in your system brings order to the management of your activation codes. With this function, you can easily filter by valid codes and get a clear overview of the available and active codes. This makes it easier to find and assign the right codes for new or existing clients and reduces the complexity of managing them.

Instead of digging through a long list of codes, the filter function lets you work efficiently and purposefully. This saves you valuable time and avoids confusion, which ultimately leads to smoother client support and a more efficient workflow.

Automatic ordering of additional codes

No unused codes left to activate or renew your clients? Request more codes automatically.

If you've run out of activation codes for your clients, you can request more codes automatically. This feature makes ongoing client support easier, since you can add new clients or extend existing subscriptions without interruption.

Requesting codes automatically saves you time and effort, since you don't have to step in manually, and ensures seamless client management. This lets you focus fully on coaching and supporting your clients while administrative processes run smoothly in the background.

Section: RECIPES

Create your own recipes as a coach

Create your own recipes that are visible only to you and your clients.

As a coach, you can expand the Natty Gains recipe database by adding your own collection of recipes. This lets you offer individually tailored and creative food options that perfectly match your clients' needs and preferences. Your personal recipe collection stays accessible exclusively to you and your clients, making it a valuable resource for tailored nutrition coaching.

Add your own recipes without a quality check, so they're immediately available to you and your clients.

Since there's no Natty Gains quality check, you can add your individual recipes to the platform right away, making them immediately available to you and your clients. This lets you respond quickly and effectively to your clients' specific needs and preferences without waiting for external approval, and makes your nutrition coaching more flexible and personal. The recipes you create are saved only for you and your clients.

Edit recipes later

Made a mistake when creating a recipe? Simply correct it later.

Being able to edit your own recipes later gives you the flexibility to update and improve existing recipes at any time. This is especially valuable for adapting recipes to changing client needs, new nutrition findings or seasonal ingredients.

You can add, remove or replace ingredients, update preparation steps or refine nutritional information. This ensures that your recipe collection always meets your clients' current needs and stays high quality.

Easily create new ingredients

Can't find a food in the database? Expand the food database individually.

Being able to create your own entries for new foods expands the food database individually and lets you add special or unusual foods. This gives you a wider choice and more customization for your clients' meal plans by taking their specific needs and preferences into account.
